On the premises of GZ Media a.s. in Loděnice near Prague, the internal Ventilation distribution systems were replaced after a plant-wide shutdown. One third of the new pipelines were connected to the existing ventilation units and temporary air extraction by axial fans was provided for the remaining part of the hall.
In the first half of September, the steel substructure for the new outdoor air handling units was installed and subsequently the air handling units themselves were installed.
Ventilation technology ensures the supply of fresh air and the removal of heat load from the press room.
The implemented change in the method of ventilation of the production hall will increase the temperature of the cooling water and thus the total capacity of the existing chiller. Thanks to this, both new air handling units for the first stage of the GR press expansion can be connected to the existing chiller.
The commissioning of the ventilation in its entirety is planned for the end of October 2021.
